| At a management conference in April 2004, three
hundred senior Bidvest managers were challenged to create a painting measuring
16.5mm x 3m, and consisting of 88 canvases.
The completed image has since become a visual metaphor for The Bidvest Group.
Its philosophy of decentralised management, incentivisation and a sense of
personal ownership has proved once again that empowered people achieve great
